Campus Martius – TG Detroit

Downtown Detroit’s urban oasis, Campus Martius Park, turns to a winter wonderland every year in mid-November when the ice rink opens. Following the Nov. 17, 2017 tree lighting, when thousands of Detroiters and suburbanites meet in the park to see the Christmas tree all aglow, skate and keep toasty with some warm grub through the winter season. Even if you can’t make the grand opening, don’t sweat it! This outdoor ice rink, modeled after the one at Rockefeller Center in the Big Apple, is open daily until March 4, 2018 this 2017-18 season.
